im addicted to darvocet i use to take 4 pills a night then i cut down to 3 and ive been taking them on and off ofr almost 2 years i dont have any symptoms of liver damage but im so worried ive made an appointment to tell my doctor everything but its not for about a week i think i jsut need a peace of mind do you think i could have sever liver damage? or if my doctor takes me off of pain killers will my liver heal itself? i know its so stupid to take so much but im addicted also what can cause liver damage more pain killers or alcohol?

Unfortunately this happens to women all around the world - regardless of their nationality and yes, this happens to several Americans every year. Sometimes they are kidnapped, but oftentimes a trusted "friend" will say that they can get a job overseas as a maid/waitress/nanny, etc and will even help pay for their airplane ticket. As soon as they arrive at their destination, all of their doentation is taken away and captors often threaten the women with their death or the death of their family if they try to escape. It's a sad situation.
