The death penalty...?

Well, first of all, I think that the death penalty is wrong. Not that I don't agree with you that the offender( rapist or murderer) deserve something worse, but if our government started torturing people, there would be riots on the streets, and we would be no better then the person that did the original crime. Although true the promise of a terrible death is bad, I think that if someone really wanted revenge and not the terrible death part, they would just suicidally bomb something. I love debating things like that.
