NROTC help! i need someone to give me a detailed answer!?

ok so i'm about to be a senior in high school. i didn't apply for rotc yet because i'm about to take my ACT in September again and after i get my results ill hand in my application. i know ACT is one of the factors in rotc but they also want like "leaders" or something that shows leadership. Well i never showed any type of leadership but academic wise i'm kind of ok im not what you can say the best but im slowly bringing my grades back up, but i am a highly motivated person but i never exactly displayed it. What exactly do they look for when they interview applicant? I just hope i have a chance because i dont want to work hard for this scholarship if i have no chance. Also what kind of question will they ask when they interview ?
