Make bubble bath at home?

Ok, so when my children where in Kindergarten they made this bubble bath with like soap, salt, and some other stuff. The problem is they don't remember how they made it. And now they want to make it for their grandma!! OH!! All I can find is stuff with Glycerin and I don't even know what that is! Please help me, Thanks!!
