My wife's doctor told her that she's as good as worm food?

wow, I'm so sorry. thats terrible. he's right though... once someone gets pancreatic cancer they pretty much ARE as good as dead. Yes he should have said it in a more professional matter, but still, she asked for a realistic answer, and she got one. I don't honestly know much about the legalities of the situation, I think there may be a better section to ask this in, or better yet just ask a lawyer. I am at a loss as to what you could do for her to cheer her up. Just make sure family comes and visits to say their goodbyes and spends time at her bedside, make sure her eternity in heaven is secured, and ask her what you can do for her, or maybe talk to her about what she'd like to do before she dies. I wouldn't expect someone who has just heard that news to be in the best of moods or want to leave the house either, it's understandable. Its not something easy to deal with. I think what makes death less depressing, is being sure about heaven, talking about how great it will, how you will see eachother again there, things like that.
