Why does my cat do this at night?

Apparently he has made a game out of this and until it is either not fun or there is something funner to do, he will probably keep doing it. I would get him some new toys that you can leave on the floor for him at night that aren't to noisy, maybe a little stuffed catnip toy or some of those plastic they sell for cats to distract him and keep him from getting bored. Also, most of the time the wand on the blinds is only hanging from a little hook, if it's easy to take off, just take it off before you go to bed and maybe put it on the floor for him to play with. There must be a way that you can tape the strings where he can't reach them also. Good luck lol just try to keep things in his reach to entertain him at night without waking you up and hopefully he will stop
